Semalam I call you, you tak answer. You kata you keluar pergi dinner.

Ok, short post sebab kena study. Eceh, cakap macam dah lama je blog sampai dah ada followers beribu-ribu you. Fine, I know I'm still knew in this whole blogging thing. Sebelum ni reti takat tengok-tengok je blog orang lain. Now lepas di paksa oleh kawan-kawan dari Malaysia nak tahu updates kat sini, baru lah nak terhegeh-hegeh to create one. Sayang punye pasal kat kawan-kawan kan. Nak buat lagu mano ye dak.

Makasih mbak. Wo ai ni, I know you ni ai wo me too.

Kekadang, saya lupa kata sandi(password) blog saya , beliau lah yang saya akan rujuk. Nak link nama Cik Safizah Safri macam kat atas tu pon, saya tak reti, dia lah yang saya tuju. So dari sini boleh dilihat, knowledge saya tentang nak operate-kan blog ni................
ZERO.KOSONG.NADA. ZILCH.NOL.

Tapi jangan pandang sinis, angkat kening sebelah kata "E'elah poyo ah lu minah benda senang pun tak boleh buat sendiri ke? Gedik". Kesian saya. Saya budak baru belajar. Ni tengah belajar lah ni. Dulu reti pergi kat new post je sebab dah terang-terang dia tulis new post, nak post kat mana lagi kan -__- Sekarang dah pandai sikit. Tapi tak hebak mano pung. To the extend yang tak payah refer Safizah dah. Kira dah stage independent la ni aihhh.

Ok, short post yang dibilang short di atas, dah jadi tak short dah. Dah melalut. Topic pon takde kene mengena. Tengah ada exam angst. Semua pon jadi tak betul. Tadi baru lepas mid-term exam untuk paper E-business. I was the LAST person to keluar from the exam hall. Why? sebab tak cukup masaaaaa :'(

Jumaat later ada paper International Marketing, kene start study sekarang. Passing marks kat Binus International sangat lah tinggi. Heart attack kejap please.

                                                   Stghessssssssssss. Kbye!

No, Can Do's Ville Baby Doll.

Hellew, hellew.

Sorry, haven't been blog frenzy for quite sometimes now.I ain't dead yet people. Going through some rough patches  as my diarrhea has been continuously affecting my entire week.
Anyhoo, a lot of things happened this couple of weeks. A LOT.

Let's start with the karaoke competition. Funny shit wey. Haha.
Couple of weeks back as Saf and I were on our way to pick up our clothes from the laundry, we stumbled upon a booth with a sign 'BINUS SQUARE KARAOKE COMPETITION FOR MARCH 2011'.

Me: Macam menarik je, Saf.
Saf: Masuk ah Sheyra. Nanti I support you. Nanti I panggil Atiqah, Ikmal ngan Ejat support you ramai-ramai. Wakil Malaysia.
Me: Jom Saf. Masuk sekali. For fun please. I tau suara I ni tak seberapa. Orang kat sini mana kenal kita pun. To heck la if they want to laugh if we sing like crap kan.

I ended up registering myself for the competition which is 8 days ahead while Saf chickened out as she was so shy-shy-kitty-kitty-meow-meow. To cut the story short, the karaoke issue had slipped my mind on the day of the competition. Plus, my class finishes at 3pm at which the competition was also scheduled to start. Mind you, it usually takes 40 minutes from uni to reach Binus Square. I had a strong feeling that I would not have made it in time and thus decided to withdraw my participation. Earlier in the morning, I met with the event organisers to notify them of my withdrawal from the competition but alas, the ever so flexible organisers allocated a much later slot for me to sing in.

I reached Binus Square around 4-ish and was shockingly surprised that the competition was held outdoor near the swimming pool! What I had in mind was the medium-size confined indoor Oak Room.To make matters worse, I didn't realize that it was my first attempt wearing baju kurung to class since I got here. Imagine I had to sing Katty Perry's Firework and Christina Aguilera's I Turn To You with THAT attire as I have no time to go up to my room to change. Singing the catchy Firework song with a BAJU KURUNG! Ayayai. Sentap mak T_T.

Sampai-sampai, dah start *Gulp*
Lily from Korea. She sang a Korean song. Pretty amusing.

Andi sang Terima Kasih Cinta by Afghan. Phenomenal!
Can't remember her name but she sang a Colbie Caillat song. Mendayu-dayu you.

Duet contestants.

Oho, that's me clinging on to the mic. With baju kurung some more. Don't play-play.

Thailand girls, Sasa and Gift sang Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars.

I think I did fairly ok with Christina's I Turn To You but I didn't put any hope at all in winning because I screwed up  on my Firework song sebab dah semput tak cukup nafas and the lagu was so fast and banyak kene suara tarik-tarik-jerit-jerit. " Cos baby you're a fayerrrr werkkk..c'mon let your colours bersttt..make 'em go oh oh ohhh..as you shoot across the skai-ai-aiiiii..." Complete disaster guys.

Did I humiliated myself in public?
Yes, I did.

Do I give a damn what others think of me?
No, can do's ville baby doll ;)

Finally, the results announcement.

MC: 2nd runner-up for Binus Square Karaoke Competition 2011 goes to....Thailand duet girls! Natacha and Nuchada!

*Applauses.Thailand girls collects prize. Smile. Takes photo*

MC: She's wearing a long black dress and she's our runner-up! Give it up for Shahira from Malaysia!

*Wait..a  what?? Dress?? Did he just mentioned my name. I won? Walks heartlessly to collect prize. Forces a smile. Snaps photo *

The winner of this years Binus Square Karaoke Competition was entitled to Andri Nurhady who sang Terima Kasih Cinta and Bukan Cinta Biasa, both by Afghan.

Congrats Andri. Suara kamu kayak persis Afghan! Sip sip sip.

So that's the story people. I intentionally entered a karaoke competition for fun and unexpectedly won it. LOL. Told you, it is a funny shit.
Last but not least, penyokong dari Malaysia. Yang kanan sekali tu ialah Saf and tengah tu ialah Atiqah. Paling kiri tu namanye Ejat. Terima Kasih kerana datang support.
Gomo Klate Gomo!

Problematic urgency!

Hi you olzs.

I'm squashed in between assignments and temptations to go jalan-jalan shopping with the Thailand girls tomorrow. Been extremely busy this past few days since classes are transfered to BI.

So sleepless nights are to be friends with. Great.

A friend of mine reminded me about how I shouldn't keep every work/assignment/exam angst buried inside me because it'll make me go coo-coo bananas.
I think it's kinda true.

 Want some proof revealing?

Maybe I should give up, give in, give up trying to be thin.

I'm sorry to which ever man should meet my sorry state,
Watch my steady lonesome gait and beware,
I would never love a man,
Cause love and pain,
Go hand in hand,
And I can't do it again.

P/S: Unleashing the emo/jiwang part of me. Good night.

New Rendition

Everyone should really know this.

I have the most awesome set of friends anyone could ever ask for!

Can't describe it with words. Let the pictures do the talking.

So MANY things have happened since I got here and I'm really just grateful for all the blessings and support from Allah and all of you. I'm amazed how life has brought me this far. There's still a lot more room for me to learn, explore and discover. Plus, I know I've been a big-headed and obnoxiously stubborn after all this while and for those of you that I've might unintentionally hurt your emotional feelings, I'm truly sorry. My journey is still long ahead. I'm still learning and fixing to get it right.

Despite for being far apart from home, I still can feel the strong sparkle  from everyone who wished me as a sign that they actually remembered me. My mails kept flooded with messages from fb, twitter and bbm. For those of you who had called me all the way from Malaysia, thank you, thank you very much. To Saf, Atiqah, Ditha, Ikmal, Lily, Andi, Faisal and Ejat, thank you so so much for going through the hassle throwing my surprise birthday prank. I appreciate all your time and effort that you guys have putted into even though you guys were tired as it was getting late and morning classes are held the next day. You guys managed to pull a straight happy face just to cheer me up :')

Family and friends back who wished me, I'm thankful to have known all of you. I just can't express how overwhelmed I am to receive such simple birthday statement and yet feel so loved. If only I could hug my laptop the whole night, I would guys...

So 22, bring it on. Let see what you have to offer ;)
Peace and love.

Mbak Sehera

Assalamualaikum, salam sejahtera ibuk-ibuk bapak-bapak...

Well now that I'm already in Jakarta... I would like to share some stories/incidents of my interesting moments as a pertukaran pelajar UiTM yang bertauliah. Eceh.

The minute I stepped foot in this Bakso land, the first thing that came into mind was ' So semak one... Macet (jam) everywhere! How to survive like this?'. The traffic was very bad I tell you. May be because in Malaysia the rush hour occurs in a certain part of the day like at late evening when people start coming home from work or if there's any accidents or even roadblocks.

But here, bad traffic doesn't conquer only the roads during day time, but it also dominates the night and all the jalan kampung yang ada pelusuk-pelusuk! Vehicles kept on honking to one another and beggars along the road side kept on knocking on car windows.

Motorcyclist lagi satu! So dangerous. They love to squeeze-in in every small space they can find. I thought the motorcyclist in Shah Alam is the most hardcore notorious, rupanya ada gang kat Indonesia ni ha!

The driver from Binus that drove us with Toyota Kijang barely move for 10mins for every 50 meters. Imagine every 10mins gerak, than stop, than wait for another 10mins, gerak, than stop. It's like you're riding a bumper car or or or being driven by someone who is mentally retarded. Annoying!

Despite the horrible congestions that accompanied my thoughts and sights, the moment I arrived at the Binus Residence my jaws dropped open with disbelief. I portrayed this place as ugly as the thoughts of the bad traffic that just happened. I was deadly wrong. Tu la, underestimate lagi Sheyra oi!This is the place that I'll be staying for the next 6 months. *beams*

Nice innit? Better than UiTM fo sho!

The following week, Ms. Arina (Binus Administrator) took me and my other Malaysian friends a tour around Binus. Mind you, Binus Residence, Binus University and Binus International (BI) is entirely different and it's difficultly confusing. Here's why:
  1. The buildings are in different locations.
  2. Binus University consist of 3 other campuses which is the Kijang Campus, Syahdan Campus and Anggrek Campus.
  3. My hostel room is NOT within the university compound. (This goes to you,pa)
  4. Not within walking distance either. Must take taxi. ( More cab ride means more money)
  5. Binus International is in Senayan. (Yes, across the luxurious Plaza Senayan and where usally BI students gets lunch )
  6. I am placed in Binus International. (Cab ride+ expensive food in Plaza Senayan = deficit cash in hand)

Binus University (Anggrek Campus)

Binus Interntional

Anyhoo, I just realized it's already March people! Mark the 16th on your reminder/calender/memo pad/forehead as I will turn 22 which generally means I can get married. Hahaha. This years 22nd is definitely going to be different as there'll be no family,  no Hasif and no closed friends.

So, prepare to be a year older. Jawa style.
jyeah!
